Do I need a permit for porta potties at my San Jose event?
For a private party on your own property, generally no. For events on city streets, plazas, or private property open to the public, the Office of Cultural Affairs process applies. For city parks, it's PRNS Special Park Use. Those processes ask you to show toilet locations on your site plan.
How soon after my event will you pick up the units?
San Jose's event guidance says equipment, including toilets, must be removed within 24 hours or by 7 a.m. the next business day. We'll schedule pickup to match your permit.
Do I need handwashing stations for a park picnic with food?
Santa Clara County Environmental Health says portable restrooms and handwash units may be required at park events over an hour with food or drinks. Check your permit. Either way, a station near the food is a good idea.
Can you deliver to hillside homes in Almaden Valley or Evergreen?
Yes. Tell us about the driveway slope, gates, and any tight turns. We'll find a level spot the service truck can reach.
How many units for a 200-guest quinceañera?
As a rule of thumb, about one unit per 50 guests for a four-hour event, more for longer events or when alcohol is served. That's usually four to five units, plus a handwashing station and at least one accessible unit.
Do you serve Santa Clara, Campbell, and Milpitas?
Yes. We also serve nearby cities, including Santa Clara, Campbell, Milpitas, Los Gatos, Cupertino, and Morgan Hill.
How much does a porta potty rental cost?
It depends on the unit type, how many you need, how long you need them, and how often they're serviced. Call or send the quote form and we'll give you a price for your situation.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weekend events in spring and summer. For job sites, a few days' notice is usually enough. Call to check your dates.
What does the placement spot need?
Flat, firm ground that the service truck can reach, ideally within a short walk of where people will be. Tell us about gates, slopes, and overhead branches.
Do you service units during the rental?
Yes. Longer rentals get scheduled service visits, and we'll set the frequency based on how many people use the units.
